Diagnostic Testing
We use in-house imaging and laboratory testing to look beyond what we can see in a physical exam. These tools help us identify problems sooner and choose the most appropriate treatment for your pet.

Digital X-Rays
In-house X-rays to evaluate bones, joints, chest, and abdomen, and quickly identify injuries or disease.

Ultrasound
Non-invasive imaging that lets us see organs in real time, especially in the abdomen and bladder.

Ongoing Monitoring
Regular blood, urine, fecal tests and cytology for pets on medication or with chronic disease to closely monitor their health.

Pre-Anesthetic Screening
Bloodwork before surgery or dental procedures to assess overall health and anesthetic risk.
What to Expect at a Diagnostic Visit
We'll walk you through each step so you know what's being done and why.
1. History & Physical Exam
We start with a full exam and a conversation about what you're seeing at home.
2. Testing Recommendations
The veterinarian explains which tests are recommended, why they're useful, and reviews any costs.
3. Imaging or Sample Collection
X-rays, ultrasound, and lab samples are performed in our hospital using comfort and handling techniques.
4. Results & Next Steps
We review the findings with you and outline treatment, monitoring, or follow-up options.
